multimc/prism instances:

Download and install Prism Launcher. New versions of Prism handle Java downloads for you!
Run Prism Launcher and then sign into your Microsoft account (on the top right of Prism Launcher under Accounts -> Manage Accounts)
Download an instance above and add it to Prism (using the Add Instance -> Import button in the top left of Prism Launcher)
- Fabulously Optimized modpack found in the Modrinth tab is a good alternative if the provided instance is not working or out of date.
Select the instance and hit launch
